Freshly divorced and trying to rebuild her life, Mary Kee begins receiving unsettling phone calls from a woman who claims to be reaching her from a different era entirely. What starts as a strange curiosity quickly curdles into something far more dangerous when Mary attempts to cut ties. The caller's reach proves disturbingly long — and the past, it turns out, can be reshaped in ways that bleed terrifyingly into the present.
