In a secluded Amish-like community, five young women share a dark prophecy surrounding their births — one that has shadowed them their entire lives. As each girl approaches her eighteenth birthday, the devout elders grow increasingly determined to act on ancient doctrine, blurring the line between pious protection and fanatical cruelty. Caught between faith, fear, and survival, the women must question everything they have been taught about sin, evil, and who the real monsters are.
