The premise

Trapped within an eerie mist, the residents of Antonio Bay have become the unwitting victims of a horrifying vengeance. One hundred years earlier, a ship carrying lepers was purposely lured onto the rocky coastline and sank, drowning all aboard. Now they're back – long-dead mariners who've waited a century for their revenge.

A peaceful coastal town's centennial celebrations are cut short when a creeping, unnatural fog rolls in from the sea — and it's not alone. The citizens of Antonio Bay are about to discover that the ground their community was built on hides a dark and violent secret stretching back a century. Ancient wrongs have a way of demanding payment, and the dead are notoriously patient collectors. This remake of John Carpenter's classic turns up the dread as vengeful forces close in on the living.
