The premise
In a sleepy mountain town, Cindy witnesses the murder of her parents by a blood-thirsty green figure in a red Santa suit. Twenty years later, the Christmas-hating monster begins to terrorize the town once more. Cindy finds new purpose in stopping the creature and saving the holiday.

A murderous green monster in a Santa suit has a long and bloody history with one small mountain town — and with Cindy, who watched it claim her parents on a dark Christmas night two decades ago. Now the creature is back to ruin the holidays all over again, and Cindy is done running scared. Part yuletide slasher, part outrageous parody, The Mean One gleefully riffs on a beloved holiday classic while stacking up a body count. It's a seasonal splatter romp that leans hard into its absurd premise and never winks so much that it forgets to deliver the gore.
