The premise
While visiting his favorite resort village during winter, a writer investigates the apparent suicide of a woman he was infatuated with.

A writer returns to an off-season resort town, only to find that the woman who haunted his thoughts has died under troubling circumstances. What begins as private grief curdles into something far more unsettling as he digs beneath the surface of her apparent suicide. The bleak winter landscape mirrors his deteriorating state of mind, and the line between investigation and obsession grows dangerously thin.
