Deep beneath the Egyptian desert, an archaeological team breaks into a newly uncovered pyramid unlike any ever catalogued — and quickly realises something inside has no intention of letting them leave. As passageways collapse and communications fail, the crew documents their desperate scramble to find a way out while an unseen predator closes in. Drawing on ancient Egyptian mythology, the film transforms a familiar found-footage structure into a claustrophobic creature hunt set in near-total darkness. The deeper they venture, the clearer it becomes that this pyramid was never meant to be a tomb — it was meant to be a cage.
