The premise

Wildlife expert and TV personality Emmet Cole sets course around the world with his wife, Tess, and son, Lincoln, while filming what would become one of the most popular shows in television. After he goes missing deep in the Amazon, his family, friends and crew set out on a mysterious and deadly journey to find him.

When beloved wildlife television host Emmet Cole vanishes without a trace deep in the Amazon, his wife and son lead a desperate search expedition into one of the world's most unforgiving and enigmatic places. The rescue mission is captured on camera, blurring the line between documentary and nightmare as the jungle reveals it harbors far more than exotic wildlife. Ancient forces and inexplicable phenomena lurk beneath the canopy, threatening to swallow the crew whole. What began as a search for one man becomes a terrifying confrontation with something vast and unknowable.
