The premise
When a hiker gets lost in the desert, a gang of feral children propelled by haunting legacies traps him in a sadistic battle for survival with a frightening endgame.
Horror Vault's take
A solo hiker ventures into a remote desert landscape and, through a series of disorienting circumstances, finds himself stranded with no clear way out. His only company is a woman living in a canyon below and a pack of feral, malicious children lurking above the cliffs. What begins as a desperate survival situation slowly reveals itself to be something far more calculated and disturbing. The film builds its dread methodically, prioritizing atmosphere and psychological unease over conventional horror spectacle.
