The premise
A radio host is victimised by the notorious cannibal family while a former Texas Marshal hunts them.

Tobe Hooper's outrageously amped-up sequel trades the grim minimalism of the original for savage dark comedy, cranking the blood and chaos to cartoonish extremes. When a plucky female radio DJ crosses paths with the murderous Sawyer clan, she finds herself at the center of a nightmare she never could have broadcast. Meanwhile, a vengeance-driven former lawman armed with his own chainsaws closes in on the family's underground lair. It's a gonzo, meat-splattered fever dream that proudly refuses to play by the rules of its predecessor.
