The premise
Scarlette is a firm believer in Karma, and a fun night out on the town is ruined when she catches her mortal enemy with her ex-boyfriend. This sends her into a manic spiral. At this point, Scarlette is gifted a book of black magic and a switch goes off. With the powers that the book holds, Scarlette discovers that revenge is far more satisfying than forgiveness.

When Scarlette's night out takes a humiliating turn at the hands of her mortal enemy, she stumbles into something far darker than a grudge — a book of black magic with serious potential. Equal parts messy breakup story and occult revenge fantasy, Threefold leans into its campy, low-budget charm as one woman decides that karma might need a little supernatural push. The film plays with the classic "be careful what you wish for" energy of witchcraft tales while keeping its Gen Z sensibility front and center.
