The premise
When young Joshua learns that he will be going on vacation with his family to a small town called Nilbog, he protests adamantly. He is warned by the spirit of his deceased grandfather that goblins populate the town. His parents, Michael and Diana, dismiss his apprehensions, but soon learn to appreciate their son's warnings. Guided by his grandfather's ghost, will Joshua and his family stand a chance in fighting off these evil beings?

A family's seemingly wholesome countryside vacation takes a nightmarish turn when young Joshua discovers the locals are far more dangerous than they appear. Armed with warnings from an unlikely supernatural ally, Joshua races to convince his skeptical parents before the town's sinister residents can carry out their horrifying agenda. Equal parts genuinely strange and unintentionally hilarious, Troll 2 has earned its reputation as one of the most memorably odd entries in horror history. Its eccentric mythology, peculiar rules, and over-the-top performances make it an experience completely unlike anything else.
