The premise

When his best friend and podcast co-host goes missing in the backwoods of Canada, a young guy joins forces with his friend's girlfriend to search for him.

A podcaster ventures deep into the Canadian wilderness chasing a story, only to fall into the clutches of a dangerously eccentric recluse with a profoundly twisted vision. Back home, his co-host and girlfriend race against time to track him down before it's too late.
