The premise
The relationship between two neighboring farm families are strained when one of them chooses to lease their land to an oil and gas company. In the midst of growing tension, the land is drilled, and something long dormant and terrifying, deep beneath the earth's surface is released. "Unearth" is about the horrifying repercussions sown by short-sighted decisions, and what our children reap from our actions.

When a struggling farm family signs over their land to an oil and gas company, the drilling reaches something ancient and malevolent buried far below the surface. What follows is a slow-burn nightmare that bleeds into the lives of both neighboring families in deeply unsettling ways. Unearth roots its horror in very human failures — desperation, short-term thinking, and fractured relationships — before the terror below ground makes itself impossible to ignore.
