The premise

As the streets of Los Angeles overflow with camera-wielding gawkers seeking to capture images of a bizarre police pursuit, the same people who sought to exploit the suffering of others for amusement on the Internet become the stars of a gruesome viral video from which no one gets out alive.

Horror Vault's take

The third entry in the V/H/S anthology series takes aim at internet culture and the public's insatiable hunger for shocking viral content. Framed around a wild police chase flooding the streets of Los Angeles with smartphone-clutching spectators, the film weaves together a collection of disturbing found-footage vignettes. Each segment escalates the dread in its own twisted direction, holding a dark mirror up to the cameras we can't seem to put down.
