The premise
When a group of young Spanish tourists travel to Venice for a bachelorette party, they are met by angry locals who are not keen on foreigners and soon they find themselves fighting for their lives.

A bachelorette trip to Venice turns into a blood-soaked nightmare when a group of Spanish tourists discover the city's romantic canals hide a very different kind of local hospitality. Resentment toward mass tourism festers into something far more dangerous, as the friends find themselves hunted through narrow alleyways and labyrinthine waterways. Equal parts social commentary and visceral slasher, Veneciafrenia uses one of Europe's most iconic backdrops to suffocating effect.
