The premise
When their car breaks down, a couple on the run headed southbound for a fresh start in the Sunshine State break into a nearby house looking for a new set of wheels. What they find instead is a dark secret, and a sweet-as-pie pair of homeowners who will do anything to keep it from getting out.

A getaway gone wrong strands a mismatched criminal couple inside a picture-perfect home that hides something deeply disturbing. What begins as a simple smash-and-grab detour quickly spirals into a battle of wits against a pair of charming, dangerously devoted homeowners. The film balances jet-black comedy with genuine menace, pitting lovable losers against a threat far more unhinged than themselves. It's a twisted game of cat-and-mouse where no one in the house is quite who they seem.
