The premise

A documentary-style look into the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of a group of vampires in Staten Island who have “lived” together for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Horror Vault's take

Centuries-old vampires sharing a Staten Island residence are the unlikely subjects of a fly-on-the-wall documentary crew capturing their hilariously mundane — and occasionally bloodthirsty — existence. The series translates the beloved mockumentary format of its film predecessor into an episodic American setting, letting its ensemble cast mine endless comedy from the collision of old-world monstrousness and everyday New York life. Equal parts sharp character study and supernatural farce, it rewards viewers who stick around for the slow-burn camaraderie that develops among its oddballs.
