The premise

The misadventures of Vlad and Ingrid, who have moved to Britain from Transylvania with their father Count Dracula.

Horror Vault's take

When Count Dracula uproots his family from Transylvania and relocates to Wales, his teenage children Vlad and Ingrid find themselves caught between two very different worlds. The series follows their comic struggles to blend into ordinary British life while contending with a flamboyantly overbearing vampire father. Equal parts family sitcom and horror spoof, it mines laughs from the clash between ancient vampire tradition and modern suburban reality. Based on a children's book series, it balances dark-tinged humour with enough bite to keep older viewers entertained too.
