The premise
A staircase leading to a schoolgirls' dormitory usually has 28 steps, but sometimes a 29th step appears. Any wish you make while standing on this step comes true, even if it must come true in the most horrific way possible.

At an elite all-girls arts school, legend holds that a hidden 29th step occasionally materializes on a dormitory staircase — and any wish whispered there will be granted, no matter the cost. When two ballet students locked in fierce competition discover the step may be real, ambition and desperation push them toward dangers they cannot take back. This entry in the Korean 'Whispering Corridors' anthology series wraps its supernatural premise in a suffocating atmosphere of academic pressure and fractured friendship. What begins as dark wish-fulfillment steadily curdles into something far more haunting.
