The premise
Two high school nobodies make the decision to crash the last major celebration before the new millennium on New Year's Eve 1999. The night becomes even crazier than they could have ever dreamed when the clock strikes midnight.

It's December 31st, 1999, and two nerdy high schoolers finally work up the nerve to crash the coolest party of the year — the kind of bash that feels like the end of the world even before it literally starts becoming one. When midnight strikes and the calendar flips, the festivities spiral into something far more dangerous than social embarrassment. Equal parts nostalgic love letter and savage satire, Y2K weaponizes late-90s tech culture into gleefully unhinged carnage. Think teen comedy collision course with a very angry machine uprising.
