The premise
In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, New Hampshire walked together up a winding mountain trail and into the wilderness. Without warning, they left behind everything: their homes, their clothes, and their money. The only clue where they went was a single word etched into stone near the forest’s edge: YELLOWBRICKROAD.

Decades after an entire New Hampshire town vanished into the wilderness under inexplicable circumstances, a modern research team sets out to retrace the doomed trail and uncover the truth. What begins as an academic expedition into eerie local legend quickly dissolves into something far more primal as the wilderness itself seems to work against them. YellowBrickRoad is a slow-burn descent into paranoia and psychological fracture, where the greatest threat may lie within the group rather than in the trees.
