The premise

Keyes, a successful photographer who lives at the border of Skid Row, notices a homeless man with a strange old mirror. Immediately struck by it for reasons he cannot explain, he convinces the man to sell it to him, soon behaving in increasingly erratic and unhinged ways.

Horror Vault's take

When a photographer living on the fringes of Skid Row acquires a mysterious antique mirror from a homeless stranger, he can't shake the feeling that it was meant to find him. What begins as an inexplicable fascination soon warps into disturbing, erratic behavior that threatens everyone around him. This entry in the long-running Amityville franchise transplants the franchise's signature malevolent force into a gritty urban setting, swapping the suburban haunted house for a claustrophobic artist's world. The mirror's dark history runs deeper than anyone suspects.
