The premise
Evan values family above all else, and anyone who gets between him, his wife, and newborn son learns that the hard way. But when it comes to violent tendencies, it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

On the surface, Evan appears to be a devoted husband and new father doing his best to hold his family together. But beneath that wholesome exterior lies a capacity for violence that he struggles — or perhaps chooses not — to contain. As the pressures of new parenthood mount and threats to his family emerge, Evan's methods of protection grow increasingly extreme. Seann William Scott delivers a striking against-type performance in this slow-burn character study wrapped in serial-killer dread.
