In a brutal dystopia, a deaf-mute young man known only as Boy watches his family torn away from him and retreats into the jungle to forge himself into something far more dangerous than his oppressors ever anticipated. Trained by a reclusive shaman, Boy must strip away the remnants of his childhood and reshape his mind and body into a weapon. What follows is a relentlessly kinetic revenge rampage against the regime responsible for his devastation. Equal parts ultraviolent action spectacle and twisted psychological journey, the film revels in its own gleeful excess.
