The premise
A crew of hardy road workers, led by a bickering Father and Son, must survive the night when they accidentally awaken an ancient Irish vampire.

Deep in the Irish countryside, a road construction crew disturbs ground that should never have been touched — and what rises from beneath is far older and hungrier than local folklore ever warned. With shovels and stubbornness as their only weapons, a fractious father and son must put their differences aside if anyone is to see morning. Boys from County Hell balances genuine dread with sharp, earthy Irish humour, rooting its vampire mythology firmly in Celtic legend rather than gothic cliché. It's a blood-soaked love letter to rural Ireland that earns both its laughs and its scares.
