Shot in a raw pseudo-documentary style, Capture Kill Release follows a couple who meticulously plan the ultimate taboo: the murder of a complete stranger for the sheer rush of it. The camera becomes an uncomfortable accomplice as their cheerful, almost domestic preparation gives way to genuine menace. When one partner's resolve begins to crack, the relationship itself is pushed to a horrifying breaking point. It's a deeply uncomfortable portrait of how ordinary people can harbour monstrous desires.
