The premise
When her possessive high school boyfriend dies in a gruesome accident, Fern Petersen's life is thrown into turmoil. Things go from bad to worse when he returns as a love-sick ghost to kill her so they can be together for eternity.

Fern Petersen thought breaking free from her overbearing boyfriend would be the hard part — she didn't count on death being no obstacle for his clinginess. When a freak accident removes him from the living world, his devotion only intensifies in the most spectral way possible. What follows is a darkly comedic battle between a girl trying to reclaim her independence and a lovesick ghost with very permanent plans for their future together. Think rom-com, but with a body count on the horizon.
