The premise
A mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages. An unlikely hero must lead a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives.

When a contaminated food supply triggers a terrifying outbreak at an elementary school, the faculty find themselves barricaded inside with nowhere to run and no one coming to help. What starts as an ordinary school day spirals into a blood-soaked gauntlet as the infected children become something far more dangerous than any teacher ever bargained for. A misfit crew of educators must set aside their petty differences and actually work together — easier said than done. Equal parts gross-out horror and sharp workplace comedy, Cooties gleefully skewers small-town adult mediocrity while delivering genuine creature chaos.
