The premise

A shadowy killer is leaving a trail of bodies through a close-knit Southern town, and no one — not even those sworn to protect the community — is above suspicion. A seasoned detective takes the lead on the case, but the investigation drags him back toward personal demons he has never fully escaped. With each grim discovery, the line between hunter and haunted grows thinner. Crescent City is a slow-burn Southern noir that keeps its cards close until the very end.
