Sixteen-year-old David is consumed by guilt following his brother's death, and his parents' solution — shipping him off to a remote wilderness camp called Driftwood — proves to be anything but therapeutic. Under the iron grip of the sadistic Captain Kennedy and his ruthless enforcer Yates, the camp operates more like a prison than a place of healing. As David endures the brutal regime, something beyond the human cruelty begins to make itself known. Driftwood blends the very real horror of institutional abuse with a creeping supernatural undercurrent that refuses to let the boys rest.
