The premise
Eraserhead Xiu Xiu is a new live concert with accompanying film & full-length album that uses field recordings, concert specific homemade instruments, organ, modular synths, vocals, flashlights, electrical interference, and elements of musique concrete to express the bizarre emotionality, conflicted sexuality, relentless darkness, and singularly unsettled moonscape of this most incredible of midnight masterpieces.

A boundary-dissolving concert film and album event, Eraserhead Xiu Xiu channels the haunting inner world of David Lynch's cult classic through a radical sonic reimagining. Experimental band Xiu Xiu constructs an immersive audio-visual landscape using homemade instruments, modular synthesis, organ, and musique concrète techniques to evoke the film's legendary atmosphere of dread and strangeness. The result is less a soundtrack and more a full-body confrontation with unease — a live ritual designed to pull audiences deeper into one of cinema's darkest dreamscapes.
