The premise
Brigitte has escaped the confines of Bailey Downs but she's not alone. Another werewolf is tailing her closely and her sister's specter haunts her. An overdose of Monkshood - the poison that is keeping her transformation at bay - leads to her being incarcerated in a rehabilitation clinic for drug addicts where her only friend is an eccentric young girl by the name of Ghost.

Brigitte is on the run, desperately self-medicating to hold back the werewolf curse slowly consuming her body — but the outside world offers little refuge. Captured and locked inside a rehab facility, she must navigate a grim institutional nightmare while a predatory werewolf closes in and the memory of her sister refuses to let her go. Her only unlikely ally is Ghost, a sharp and unsettling young girl with her own secrets. The sequel trades the suburban setting of the original for a claustrophobic, pressure-cooker environment where Brigitte's time — and her humanity — is running out.
