A man escaping a troubled past throws himself into renovating a crumbling Victorian mansion, convinced that hard work and a fresh start are all his family needs. But the house resists every swing of the hammer, and the rot runs far deeper than peeling wallpaper and burst pipes. Strange occurrences begin to blur the line between the building's dark history and Don's own unraveling psyche.
