The premise
Four years after the events of Halloween in 2018, Laurie has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Horror Vault's take
Four years have passed since Laurie Strode's last deadly confrontation, and she's chosen to rebuild her life in Haddonfield rather than live in the shadow of Michael Myers. But the town's festering fear proves contagious, and when a young man becomes entangled in suspicious violence, darkness begins to spread in unexpected directions. Laurie — now writing her memoir and nurturing a bond with granddaughter Allyson — soon discovers that evil in Haddonfield may not wear just one face. The Halloween trilogy's final chapter asks whether monsters are made or born, and whether a community can ever truly heal.
