The premise

After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis, Michael Myers has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim.

Picking up exactly where its predecessor left off, Halloween II traps final girl Laurie Strode in the sterile corridors of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital — a setting that proves far more hunting ground than sanctuary. Michael Myers, undeterred by the events of Halloween night, stalks the understaffed wards with cold, methodical purpose. Dr. Loomis continues his desperate pursuit, racing against time through a town still reeling from the night's carnage. The film cranks up the body count while maintaining the suffocating dread that made the original a genre landmark.
