The premise
Live action feature based on the Mexican comic about the exploits of a witch living in the outskirts of 'Bondojia', when a ruthless small time politician tries to steal their land in order to build a luxurious condo.

Based on the beloved Mexican comic strip, Hermelinda Linda follows a quirky witch who calls the scrappy outskirts of 'Bondojia' home — and who has no shortage of tricks up her sleeve. When a corrupt small-time politician sets his greedy sights on the community's land to build a flashy condo development, he may have severely underestimated who he's dealing with. The film blends slapstick comedy and folk magic into a colourful showdown between grassroots community spirit and cynical political ambition.
