The premise
Unaware that it's plagued by a host of supernatural phenomena, a mother and her daughter, still reeling from a car crash which claimed the life of Roger Cobb, move into the hold family homestead to start a new life.
Horror Vault's take
Following a devastating personal tragedy, a mother and her young daughter seek solace and a fresh start by settling into the old family house — not knowing the property harbors far more than memories. Strange and increasingly dangerous supernatural forces make themselves known, turning the family refuge into something far more sinister. This fourth entry in the House franchise blends dark humor with genuine chills, leaning into the series' signature mix of the absurd and the unsettling. Fans of the earlier films will recognize a familiar address, but the horror inside has taken on a new, personal edge.
