The premise
While indulging his appetite for the grim and gruesome by patronizing a voyeuristic Web site that's based in a house where a serial killer once lived, a hearing-impaired boy begins to suspect that the site's violence is more than just make-believe.

A hearing-impaired teenager with a fascination for the macabre finds himself drawn to a live-streaming website operating out of a house with a notorious murderous past. What begins as a guilty thrill slowly curdles into something far more disturbing as the line between staged shock content and genuine danger starts to blur. The film taps into anxieties about who — and what — lurks behind a screen, and what happens when a passive viewer can no longer look away.
