The premise
Marie is a vampire with a thirst for bad guys. When she fails to properly dispose of one of her victims, a violent mob boss, she bites off more than she can chew and faces a new, immortal danger.

Marie is a vampire who hunts exclusively among the criminal underworld of Pittsburgh, treating mobsters as her personal food source. When a botched kill leaves a powerful crime boss partially turned, the streets become hunting grounds for something far more dangerous than the usual gangland violence. Director John Landis blends sharp black comedy with genuine vampire menace, wrapping it all in a stylish early-90s crime aesthetic. The result is a wickedly fun genre mashup that never lets you forget there are real fangs behind the laughs.
