The premise
Completely on her own, Sarah spends her time at home, waiting for the approaching birth of her child. But one night, a stranger breaks into her home, ready to snatch her still unborn baby from her.

A heavily pregnant woman alone in her home becomes the target of a terrifying intruder with a deeply disturbing obsession. What begins as a home invasion rapidly escalates into a savage, suffocating battle for survival within the confines of a single night. The film traps both its protagonist and the viewer in a pressure-cooker of escalating dread, never letting up until the bitter end. As a remake of the notorious French extreme horror film, it carries the DNA of one of the genre's most unrelenting works.
