The premise
College students and best friends Ginger Matheson, Jim Duncan, and Kyle "Dixie" Canning, pool their cash to buy a "ghost" in an online auction. The three think it's all a goof, but once they open up the antique box to examine their "treasure," they unleash the vengeful spirit of an Irish servant girl who has been wreaking havoc on her owners throughout the generations

When three college friends pool their money to buy a so-called ghost at an online auction, they expect nothing more than a quirky joke purchase — until the antique box they receive turns out to hold something very real and very dangerous. The spirit within has a long, violent history with every person who has ever owned her, and these students are about to become the latest names on a cursed list. What starts as a lighthearted dare quickly spirals into a desperate fight for survival as the vengeful entity makes her presence impossible to ignore.
