The premise

Two college students driving coast to coast are lured off the main highway and onto a deserted Texas road were they are stalked by the menacing Leatherface and his family.

Horror Vault's take

A cross-country road trip turns into a nightmare when two travellers are lured deep into the desolate Texas backroads and into the hunting ground of the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface and his deranged clan. The third entry in the iconic franchise doubles down on brutality and cat-and-mouse tension as the protagonists fight desperately to stay alive. With a supporting cast that includes Viggo Mortensen and genre veteran Ken Foree, the film brings fresh faces to the cannibalistic family while keeping the series' signature dread intact.
