The premise
A young nurse is kidnapped by a group of violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on the road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of the teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, moulding him into a monster named Leatherface.

Before the chainsaw and the mask, there was a boy — and this prequel charts the brutal road that made him a monster. A young nurse finds herself caught between a pack of dangerous escapees and a vengeful lawman whose obsession with justice blurs into something far darker. Set against a blood-soaked Texas backdrop, the film traces how violence, cruelty, and circumstance can hollow out a person entirely. It's a grim character study wrapped in the skin of a road-trip nightmare.
