The premise
A lucky couple hits the jackpot when they purchase a 19th century plantation home for pennies on the dollar. Determined to get rich quick, they invite their friends up for the weekend to celebrate their good fortune. It’s quickly apparent that the plantation home’s former residents have not left and the unlucky youths suddenly find themselves running for their lives!

When a young couple snaps up a crumbling plantation estate at a bargain price, they figure a weekend celebration with friends is the perfect way to mark their windfall. What they don't realize is that the property carries a dark legacy — and something deeply wrong still calls it home. As the group settles in, a hulking, mask-wearing killer begins hunting them one by one with brutal efficiency. The cheap real estate deal is about to cost far more than anyone bargained for.
