On the eve of Halloween, a teenage babysitter finds herself in the crosshairs of a masked stalker — a scenario that seems ripped straight from a classic slasher playbook. What unfolds, however, is anything but conventional, as the dynamic between hunter and hunted takes a bizarre and unexpected turn. Mischief Night gleefully twists genre conventions, injecting dark humor and an offbeat tone into its cat-and-mouse premise. Fans of self-aware horror will find plenty to chew on as the film refuses to play by the rules.
