Deep in a forest with a grim reputation for drawing in the despairing, five teenagers decide to spend the night playing games with flashlights and each other's nerves. What starts as reckless fun rapidly turns sinister as the woods reveal they may hold something far worse than urban legend. Told entirely through the unblinking eye of a handheld flashlight-cam, the film traps viewers alongside its cast as the darkness closes in. The setting itself becomes a character — oppressive, hungry, and very much alive.
