When a newlywed couple inherits a sprawling mansion from the bride's recently deceased aunt, they expect a fresh start — instead they find a household of tenants and staff with no intention of leaving. What begins as an uncomfortable living arrangement steadily darkens as the couple realizes the mansion harbors something far more malevolent than difficult neighbors.
