The premise
In Texas, the aspirant actress Nicole Carrow runs away home to Los Angeles with her boyfriend Jess Hilts. They drive through a shortcut in an old road, and when they park in a rest stop, Jess is abducted by the sadistic driver of an old yellow truck. Along the night, Nicole is threatened by the sick maniac, while mysterious things happen to her in the place.

When two young runaways pull off a desolate Texas highway for a quick rest stop, a chance encounter with a menacing yellow truck tears their journey apart. Left alone and vulnerable, the young woman must fight to survive a relentless, sadistic pursuer through one harrowing night. The remote location offers no escape and no help, and as the hours drag on, the terror around her takes on a deeply unsettling edge. What begins as a straightforward cat-and-mouse nightmare slowly reveals layers that are harder to explain away.
