In the sun-scorched Mojave Desert of 1998, a lone door-to-door salesman named Sam finds his routine sales circuit turning into something far more sinister. Strange signals on the radio, ominous phone calls, and the hostility of every soul he encounters suggest that something has gone terribly wrong — and that Sam may be at the centre of it. Director Christophe Deroo crafts a slow-burn nightmare from minimalist ingredients: vast empty highways, a broken-down car, and an encroaching sense that the desert itself has turned against one man. Reality and paranoia blur beneath an eerie Mojave sky, making it impossible to trust what — or who — you're seeing.
