The premise
Despite Jigsaw's death, and in order to save the lives of two of his colleagues, Lieutenant Rigg is forced to take part in a new game, which promises to test him to the limit.

Even death can't silence Jigsaw — a new series of lethal traps is set in motion, this time placing a determined police lieutenant at the centre of a race against time to save his fellow officers. Each trap forces its victim to confront a personal failing, blurring the line between rescuer and participant. Saw IV expands the mythology of the franchise, weaving together multiple timelines and deepening the origins of its iconic villain. Expect the series' signature punishing intensity cranked up alongside an increasingly intricate plot.
